The IQAir HealthPro Plus has been named the 2011 Category Winner for Air Purifiers by AllergyBuyersClub.com.

“Put simply, this manufacturer has done everything right and when the AllergyBuyersClub.com staff are asked to recommend the best air purifier for someone with serious allergy and asthma problems, it is the IQAir first,” the online reviewers said.

Rating the IQAir air purifier as a “king among princes,” the reviewers noted that the IQAir HyperHEPA filtration system stops particles that standard HEPA filters don’t.

“This is very important as lung penetrating particles are smaller than even a regular HEPA filter can capture,” the reviewers said.

AllergyBuyersClub.com has been testing air purifiers since 1998. The company is a multi-channel retailer that sells healthy home products such as air purifiers, HEPA vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers and hypoallergenic bedding.

Earlier this year, The IQAir HealthPro Plus was named the “Best Buy” for home air purifiers in the Premium category by Consumers Digest Magazine.
