The IQAir Atem Desk, Atem Car, and HealthPro Plus air purifiers have won the Parent Tested, Parent Approved (PTPA) Seal of Approval. The PTPA Seal of Approval was awarded after a panel of parents and their families used the air purifiers in a real-world environment. PTPA testers would highly recommend the purifiers for other parents.

The ABC-TV hit show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” calls on the IQAir Clean Air Team to provide medical-grade air quality whenever a family’s health requires the cleanest air possible. The unique relationship began during Extreme Makeover’s second season, when IQAir worked alongside the Extreme Makeover team to supply the Grinnan family the clean air they needed after their daughter Hannah underwent a heart transplant. The relationship continues today.

“China Household Appliances Innovation Achievement Release Ceremony” is hosted by the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute, supported by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and IFA Berlin International Consumer Electronics and Household Appliances Exhibition, and co-organized by the National Household Appliance Industry Information Center. It is a big and influential event of Chinese household appliances in a global perspective. IQAir‘s Atem Car air purifier won the Annual Design Innovation Achievement award in the “Fifteenth China Household Electrical Innovation Achievement Selection” activity. It was the only air purifier brand awarded in the event.

“Nanshan Award” is an indoor air purification industry award named after Academician Zhong Nanshan, a Chinese respiratory expert. It’s jointly carried out by the China Indoor Air Purification Brand Cluster, Zhong Nanshan Medical Foundation of Guangdong, Guangdong Indoor Environmental Sanitation Industry Association and the National Indoor Environmental Purification Industry Association Alliance. IQAir won the 2019 fourth “Nanshan Award” air purifier category “Top Ten Brands”.  

The British daily newspaper The Evening Standard awarded the IQAir HealthPro 250 with their Best Top Pick of 2021 Award. The IQAir AirVisual Pro air quality monitor was selected as one of the top highest-scoring air quality data sensors at the 2019 AirLab Challenge Microcapteurs (“Microsensors Challenge”), claiming victory over 30 other sensors with an aggregate score of 4.5/5 – the highest score ever given at this prestigious competition. Supervised by Airparif, the leading air quality authority in Paris, France in partnership with French federal institutions, AirVisual scored highly on metrics of accuracy, relevance, data visualization and ease of use, in addition to its low cost.

IQAir published the 2019 World Air Quality Report in association with Greenpeace, combining and analyzing real-time air quality data for a comprehensive view of global PM2.5 air pollution in over 98 countries and 3,000 cities. In 2020, Greenpeace Southeast Asia and IQAir launched the world’s first dynamic counter that measures the estimated number of lives lost to air pollution in 28 major cities – the counter reveals that, in the first half of 2020 alone, nearly 120,000 died from air pollution, showing the continued need for advancement in global air quality.

IQAir’s involvement in the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) reflects our role in developing high-performance air purification solutions for classrooms. IQAir partners with government air quality agencies and communities to develop cost-effective, energy-efficient air filtration systems for schools. Our solutions are designed to meet CHPS standards for low noise as well as air quality, and we share the CHPS passion for helping schools reduce energy consumption.

In 2016, the HealthPro Plus and GC MultiGas were awarded the “2016 Air Purifier CCM Excellence Award”.
