Capturing and immediately removing pathogens from isolation rooms is critical to prevent
the spread of infections. IQAir filtration is compatible with several key accessories to control
aerosolized particles and chemicals at their source to assist in infection control and to help
prevent spread of harmful airborne contaminants.

FlexVac: Captures viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens directly at the patient source and directs airflow into the air purifier filtration system to prevent airborne biocontaminant dispersal. Ducting kit features a 4 ft. semi-rigid self-supported duct with 5 in. diameter and 6 ft. vertical reach – compatible with any IQAir room air purifier.

VM FlexVac: Converts your medical-grade air purifier with FlexVac into a wall-mounted extraction system for source capture of infectious airborne pathogens. Air velocity in the duct reaches approximately 12 mph (17 ft/s) at 150 cfm.

OutFlow W125: Converts your air purifier into a negative pressure system. Includes wall ducting tools to meet critical pressurization requirements for airborne infection control. Directs filtered air through window vents or walls.

Ultra-efficient centrifugal fan

Thanks to an ultra-efficient airflow design, HyperHEPA air purifiers for medical facilities deliver high volumes of clean air with no more electricity than conventional light bulbs. Powering these efficient systems are high-performance centrifugal New Edition fans with maintenance-free motors that typically need as little as 27 watts of power at the lowest speed and up to 215 watts at the highest speed.

Sophisticated design, easy mobility

Many of our system can be mounted, incorporated into existing HVAC systems, or easily moved from room to room. Our room air purifiers feature built-in handles and sturdy casters to allow ease of movement in high-traffic environments and to move systems away from patients and staff to help ensure low-risk filter replacement and sterilization procedures.

Remote control

Many of our systems feature sleek handheld remote controls to turn the system on/off or change fan speeds without touching the systems, minimizing surface contact and helping to reduce contamination. The remote can also be stored in or on the system to prevent the remote from getting lost in busy medical environments.
