Advanced Micro-Fibers (AMF) in the CleanZone Series are 10 times thinner than conventional filter fibers, allowing air to easily pass through filtration media with little resistance, turbulence, or noise while ultrafine threads create an almost impenetrable barrier for pollutants – including airborne biological contaminants like viruses and bacteria.
Air Change Optimization (ACO)

Integrated control panel
The advanced control panel on every CleanZone Series air purifier uses optical sensors and other technologies to give you total control: choose from fan speed settings, monitor the remaining life of each filter, set the timer, modify pollution level settings, or activate and manage password access.
CleanZone 5000 modular design
Both CleanZone 5000 air purifier models share the same powerful yet quiet fan and the same high-efficiency pre-filter. But a variety of main filter second module configurations allows for specific filtration solutions for specialized commercial air quality problems.
Upflow, downflow
Each CleanZone 5000 Series air purifier can be oriented to provide airflow from bottom up (“upflow”) or from top down (“downflow”). While upflow is more common, there are many good reasons to reorient a CleanZone 5000 Series to provide downflow. A downflow orientation may be desirable for treating indoor pollution, such as tobacco smoke, that tends to rise.
Optional ducting
With the optional IQAir FlexAir Duct Application, CleanZone 5000 air purifiers can direct clean air to specific locations or create clean air micro-environments. Ducting also allows the creation of negative or positive pressurization. Ducted operation enables the CleanZone 5000 to distribute up to 40 meters of medical-grade clean air exactly where it’s needed.
Pollution level adjustment
Pollution level adjustment controls are built into the Filter Life Monitor on CleanZone 5000 Series air purifiers, providing a more accurate calculation of remaining filter life. The Pollution Level menu allows modifications for large dust, chemicals, and fine dust. Adjustments can be made for tobacco smoke, the presence of gases and chemicals, and dusty environments.
Tamper-proof exterior
Unlike consumer air purifiers, CleanZone Series air purifiers are designed to be inherently tamper-proof. Access to filters, fan speed controls, and the power cable can all be limited and made available to authorized staff only, a crucial feature for open-plan offices, classrooms, and medical facilities.
Economical, low-maintenance operation
CleanZone Series air purifiers require only 100 watts of electricity, about the same as a conventional light bulb, and costs only a few cents a day to clean the air in environments up to 9,000 square feet. The powerful IQAir CleanZone Series fan is maintenance-free, so there’s no cost to keep your CleanZone Series air purifier fine-tuned.
State-of-the-art technology
The CleanZone SL Series’ mechanical HyperHEPA filtration technology removes more particles in the air without ozone generation, ionization, or ultraviolet radiation. And CleanZone SL Series filtration media is filters 95% of ultrafine particles, including viruses, down to 0.003 microns, the smallest particles that exist.
Expert support, installation, monitoring
Your IQAir CleanZone Series can be installed and supported by a team of IQAir Air Quality Experts as needed. This includes identifying the ideal location for the air cleaners and the mounting of the systems. The performance of a system after installation can be verified by the IQAir team using cutting-edge handheld laser particle counters to measure air contaminants at the inlet and outlet.
Total mobility
CleanZone Series air purifiers include extra features that make it simple to move them to wherever medical-grade air quality is needed. Sturdy casters on the bottom of the CleanZone Series and handlebars allow the air purifier to be moved with ease. When desired, the air purifier can be locked in location by activating the caster lock.
